A turf cutting ceremony was recently held to mark the start on site of the new Lincs & Notts Ambulance headquarters. The new build will see charity staff and ambulance crews all based under one roof. The build, due to complete by the end of the year, will also include a hangar and helipad.

The building is marks a significant change for the charity, as the charity’s staff and rescue services had previously worked from two separate facilities.

Millward are delighted to form part of the consultant team on such a prestigious and important project, and have provided both civil and structural engineering solutions from the project’s inception. Our involvement will continue throughout the construction period.

Other team members include contractor Lindum, Architect Guy Taylor Associates and PM/QS Rex Procter and Partners.

Millward Managing Director, Nicola Millward comments: “This has been a really challenging project for the team but they have worked really closely with the Lincs & Notts Ambulance teams, including talking with the pilot teams to gather relevant information necessary in the project’s design; we’re really looking forward to seeing the scheme progress and complete – helping this essential service to save lives.”
