Wardentree Lane is a new development and features 169 units consisting 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes. In total, the development has 19 property types. The homes are constructed in the market town of Spalding. The development is design-led and features lots of open space for residents, including ponds and recreational areas.
Millward became involved in the scheme prior to planning and will work on the project throughout the construction period. We undertook the detailed design of S38 roads, S278 access and S104 drainage. The detailed design included 3D design of road and external levels to all plots, surface water drainage design including permeable paving, online pipe attenuation, and four offline dry basins within the public open space areas. Foul drainage design for the development included the design of a fully adoptable pumping station in accordance with sewers for Adoption 6th Edition and Anglian Water adoption requirements.
We also liaised with the Internal Drainage Board to obtain consents. Full detailed design drawings were produced and approved by Lincolnshire County Council and Anglian Water. This is one of many schemes we have completed for Larkfleet, with whom we have enjoyed a six year relationship with.
