The new build fire station replaced the existing 1960’s building and includes office space, meeting rooms, 3 bays for fire engines, an external yard and training tower. Millward worked along side project managers Turner and Townsend, architects Maber and the contractor, Gelder.

The new build fire station replaced the existing 1960’s building and includes:

The prestigious design and build project saw us working along side Project Managers, Turner and Townsend, Architects Maber and contractor, Gelder. The demolition of the 1960’s building was followed by the 12 month build programme. The building boasts many energy and cost savings features including solar panels.

Millward provided both civil and structural services for the project, including the following additional services – transport assessment, travel plan, flood risk assessment, ecological surveys.
