We’re looking for an experienced civil engineer to join our team. Reporting directly to the company’s directors you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and technicians to complete schemes for our numerous clients whilst maintaining open communication with other teams within the business. We expect you to maintain excellent client care and customer-focussed solutions, all within set deadlines. Flexibility and approachability are key to the role – you should be able to adapt to change to maintain excellent client relationships – which is key to our approach as a business. In addition to running a team and delivering deadline driven solutions, you will be expected to produce quotes and pre-tender designs, allocate work and look after your own budget and participate in business development activities where required to promote the company. You should be highly experienced in highways and drainage design, flood risk, Section 38, 278 and 104 and SUDs design.
